Data deletion instructions

EROS PRJCT respects your privacy. If you would like to delete the personal data we hold about you, including data collected from your interactions with our Instagram or Facebook business profiles, please follow the steps below.

How to request data deletion

  1. Send an email to eros.cairo@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".
  2. Include in the body of the email:
    • The email address or phone number associated with your account or order(s).
    • Your Instagram handle, if your request relates to messages exchanged with our Instagram business account (@eros.prjct).
    • A confirmation that you are the account holder.
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your customer profile (name, contact details, addresses) on our Shopify store.
  • Your order history and any associated metadata.
  • All Instagram and WhatsApp message logs we hold on our customer support systems.
  • Any marketing list memberships (email, SMS, WhatsApp).
  • Pixel and Conversions API event data we hold internally about your interactions.

What we may retain

For legal and tax compliance, we may retain anonymized order records (purchase amounts, dates, product SKUs without personal identifiers) for the period required by Egyptian tax law. No information that personally identifies you will be retained beyond your deletion request.

Third-party services

Where we have shared your data with third-party service providers (Meta for ads, Bosta for shipping, Paymob for payments), we will instruct them to delete your data per their respective policies. You can also contact those providers directly to request data deletion.
